**About**
Our client is a well-established organisation with a strong reputation that offers a wide range of home-based child and adult support services. They are a registered NDIS provider as well as providing in home services. Their main focus is to provide person centered approach to clients and are expanding their community outreach services around Adelaide and are looking for an experienced Allied Health Professional to lead their services. Along with dedicated clinic rooms within the inner southern suburbs of Adelaide, they have opened a new clinic space in the inner suburbs offering a sensory space, a rehabilitation gym and private clinic rooms.
**The Role**
As an Allied Health Manager specialising in Occupational Therapy or Psychology, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals, ensuring the highest standard of client care. Your responsibilities will include:
**Key responsibilities**
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of allied healthcare professionals, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
- Provide clinical guidance and specialised expertise in either Occupational Therapy or Psychology, ensuring that the department's services are of the highest quality and aligned with best practices.
- Develop, implement, and oversee therapy programs and services that meet the unique needs of our clients.
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of patient care, quality, and compliance within the department.
- Collaborate with other healthcare departments, including our behaviour support team, customer care team, and administrative staff, to provide comprehensive client care.
- Foster the professional growth and development of team members, facilitating ongoing education and training opportunities.
- 30% clinical caseload - delivering Occupational Therapy or Psychology services at our locations as well as in client's homes, schools, and workplaces.
**Essential criteria**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a Physiotherapist or OT role
- Minimum 2 years proven experience in healthcare management and leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
- Proficiency in healthcare management software and technology.
