Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre is seeking an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to oversee the technical and facilities management aspects of our vibrant venue.In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team of theatre technicians and custodians, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality events and shows for clients and patrons.Key responsibilities include liaising directly with customers, coordinating staffing and scheduling for performances, maintaining and overseeing lighting, audio/video and technical requirements as well as ensuring solutions are in place to meet the customer's needs for each show or event.Alongside this, you will also be responsible for overall facilities management of the venue, ensuring that our venue remains safe, clean, and fully operational for all staff and visitors.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, a history in managing technical staff and operations within a venue, alongside a passion for the performing arts.You will play a crucial role in creating memorable experiences for clients, performers and audiences while fostering a collaborative and positive team environment.If you thrive in a dynamic setting, like to keep up to date with the latest industry technology, love coaching and developing others and have a keen eye for detail, we invite you to apply.
