We are seeking an experienced Manager – Sales to drive B2B sales, brand visibility, and business growth within the travel trade market. The role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing relationships with travel agents, and promoting online travel solutions and services.The candidate will work closely with operations and internal teams to support pre-sales activities, client onboarding, and ongoing account management while expanding the outbound travel business across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive B2B sales and brand positioning of travel products and online platforms
* Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic affiliations
* Generate new sales leads and convert them into active accounts
* Manage sales of travel-related services to travel agents
* Follow up on quotations and inquiries with existing and prospective travel agents
* Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and expand account value
* Conduct client training and provide product support to travel agents
* Coordinate with operations teams for pre-sales and client servicing requirements
* Track market trends and competitor activities within the local travel trade
* Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth
Must-Have Qualifications
* 2 to 6 years of work experience in the travel industry
* Proven experience in B2B sales within travel agencies or tour operations
* Strong knowledge of outbound travel destinations and travel products
* Good understanding of local travel trade and agent networks
* Proficiency in English and local language for business communication
* Basic computer skills with experience using MS Office, email, and internet tools
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
* Prior experience working with outbound travel agencies
* IATA certification or travel-related professional certification
* Established network of travel agents and hotel partners
