**About Your Role: Manufacturing Buyer (12 month Parental Leave Contract)**
As an Manufacturing Buyer, you'll support the Industrial Centre of Competence (ICC) by ensuring contractual commitments and customer satisfaction are met. You’ll play a crucial role in optimizing the procurement process to enhance service delivery and contribute to Thales' financial performance. This is a full-time permanent role based in Rydalmere.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Serve as the primary contact between Thales and suppliers at the production site.
- Manage the entire purchasing process, including creating, issuing, and tracking orders.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services, resolving any issues that arise.
- Handle supplier quotations, evaluate offers, and place orders as needed.
- Proactively manage shortages, delays, and non-conformances.
- Promote continuous improvement and support the LEAN transformation approach.
**Your Skills**:
- Strong relationship management with internal teams and suppliers.
- Effective order management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and soft skills, with a proactive and ethical approach.
