The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring their security, reliability, and performance.
The ideal candidate will have a background in database management, with an understanding of database architecture, design, and optimisation.ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain database systems to ensure availability and performance.Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.Ensure data security and integrity through regular audits and updates.Monitor database performance and tune systems as necessary.Develop and maintain documentation of database systems and procedures.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in database management.Collaborate with development teams to design and optimise database structures.Plan and execute database upgrades and patches.Develop and maintain documentation of database configurations and procedures.Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users and developers.QualificationsA bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is typically required.
