Senior Mental Health Clinician (Grade 3 allied health, Gr 4 nurse)

About The Role
This is a permanent, part-time position at 0.2 EFT/15.2 hours per fortnight within RCH Mental Health. You will provide outreach infant mental health consultation to families in Melbourne, collaborating with Maternal and Child Health Nurses.
Classification for this multidisciplinary position includes:
* Grade 3 Occupational Therapist (YB51-YB55; salary $101,598-$116,074)
* Grade 3 Psychologist (PL1-PL4; salary $108,280-$123,906)
* Grade 3 Social Worker (YC46-YC50; salary $101,598-$116,074)
* Grade 3 Speech Pathologist (YB51-YB55; salary $101,598-$116,074)
* Grade 4 Registered Psychiatric Nurse (NP75-NP77; salary $112,466-$121,113)
What You’ll Achieve
* Collaborate with other professionals and organizations
* Build partnerships with healthcare and community providers
* Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure understanding and inclusion of their needs in care plans
Essential Skills and Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in a related field with relevant experience
* Proven leadership in a team environment and ability to work as a senior team member
Desirable Skills
* Experience in leading, mentoring, and training others
* Postgraduate qualification or ongoing postgraduate studies
* Minimum 7 years’ experience in health or related fields

About The Department
The Infant Mental Health Program, part of RCH Mental Health, offers recovery-focused interventions for infants, children, and adolescents with mental health difficulties. It operates as part of a statewide network providing services for young people up to 12 years in the community and up to 18 years in hospital settings. This role will focus on the Bubs in Mind program, providing outreach infant mental health consultation alongside Maternal and Child Health Nurses in Melbourne.
