Central Coast Sports College is a progressive independent school situated on the NSW Central Coast that specialises in providing innovative educational programs to student athletes from Kindergarten to Year 12. Its purpose is to provide opportunities for CCSC student athletes to attempt challenging and new experiences within a safe environment that will develop their independence and personal skills. This is achieved through a passion for creating an inclusive community, focused on developing a student athlete through sport and academia.
CCSC is seeking a Bus Driver to provide the safe and efficient transportation of its students to and from College throughout the day - College excursions and other external activities.
This is a permanent full time position offering a 38 hour week Monday to Friday.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Safety
* ensure the safety of all students and staff during each journey
* operate the bus in a safe manner, follow and obey all traffic laws and regulations
* monitor the safety of student athletes and report any concerns to the Transport Coordinator
* Support the Transport Coordinator with the day to day and the periodic operation of the bus fleet -
* check for roadworthiness before and after each run
* check for cleanliness inside of the bus before and after each run
* collect lost property left on the bus
* deliver buses to providers for servicing, repairs, registration checks, etc
* Interact and communicate effectively with all student athletes, parents and CCSC staff.
Successful applicants must have:
* MR license (or higher)
* Bus Driver Authority (or working toward)
* Working with Children's Check clearance
* National Police Check clearance
* Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
* At least 1 plus years experience as a school bus driver/coach driver.
* A clean driving record
