Tyre Fitter | $70/hr Flat | Roy Hill Operations | 3 Week Project
CrewSELECT is currently seeking experienced Tyre Fitters for an immediate start at a remote workshop located approximately 50km north of Nullagine on Roy Hill operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong truck tyre fitting experience who are comfortable working autonomously within a remote mining environment.
About the Role
Working within a remote workshop environment, you will be responsible for fitting and changing truck and trailer tyres on a variety of on-highway vehicles and equipment. The role requires a self-motivated individual who can work independently while maintaining safe work practices and meeting operational deadlines.
Scope of Work
* Truck tyre fitting on 11R trailer tyres, super singles, and on-highway vehicles
* Use of tyre fitting machines and manual levers
* Removing, handling, fitting, and replacing heavy truck tyres
* Working autonomously on daily tasks with support crews available onsite
* Maintaining a safe and clean workshop environment
* Adhering to site safety procedures and operational requirements
Requirements
* Previous truck tyre fitting experience essential
* Ability to work independently and manage workloads autonomously
* Physically capable of handling tyres weighing approximately 45kg unassisted
* Comfortable performing assisted lifts up to 70kg with rims installed
* Experience using tyre fitting machines and manual levers
* Strong commitment to safety and site procedures
Tickets & Qualifications
* Certificate II in Truck Tyre Fitting
* Current Police Clearance (within 6 months)
* Full Medical (within 12 months)
