About The Role
As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will lead an Agile Scrum team in delivering high‐quality software solutions. You'll own the end‐to‐end technical design, mentor fellow developers, and collaborate with architects and leadership to shape our long‐term technical strategy.
What does a day in the life look like?
* Lead and mentor a cross‐functional Agile team, driving high‐quality outcomes through rigorous peer reviews, Scrum methodologies, and the adoption of emerging AI tools and technologies.
* Architect and design robust iOS solutions, collaborating with stakeholders and solution architects to research and implement innovative technologies that align with business goal.
* Execute high‐performance development within a serverless AWS environment (Lambda, Kinesis), partnering with web and backend teams to ensure seamless integration, maximum speed, and scalability.
* Manage the complete software development life cycle, from initial requirement gathering and analysis to the continuous maintenance and optimization of existing client applications.
* Oversee system health and stability by proactively monitoring for technical faults, managing bug‐fixing post‐build, and leading troubleshooting efforts throughout the release cycle.
About You
Essential experience & skills
* Senior Engineering Leader: Over 7 years of commercial software experience, including 4+ years leading Agile teams to deliver high‐impact, customer‐facing e‐commerce solutions.
* Advanced iOS Architecture: Deep expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and SnapKit, utilizing MVVM/MVC patterns and RESTful APIs to build intuitive, high‐performance interfaces and robust application logic.
* Ecosystem & Integration Expert: Proficient in implementing advanced Apple features (Apple Pay, Wallet, Live Activities) and managing the full release lifecycle via App Store Connect, Firebase, and Google Analytics.
* Strategic Solution Designer: Expert in designing secure, scalable enterprise architectures (UML) while balancing innovation (AI/App Clips) with best‐practice performance tuning and clear stakeholder communication.
Desirable Experience & Skills
* Jira / Confluence experience
* Other Mobile development skills and experience (Android Kotlin)
* Experience with AWS technologies – Lambda, S3, AWS Kinesis and API Gateway, Cognito
* Experience with Dynatrace, Akamai etc.
* CICD / Automation
