Job Opportunity: Customer Service Manager / Duty Manager


An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Customer Service Manager or Duty Manager to join our dynamic, innovative leadership team.

This role requires a professional self-starter with initiative and a 'can do' attitude. You should be articulate, hardworking, and adopt a proactive leadership style.

The role is hands-on and operational, responsible for:

1. Managing the day-to-day operations of Maroochy RSL
2. Maintaining a visible presence in public areas and engaging with members and patrons
3. Investigating and resolving customer or staff complaints or queries
4. Supervising all operations including equipment, staff performance, customer satisfaction, and safety during shifts
5. Ensuring staff compliance with policies and procedures
6. Managing the efficient use of plant, equipment, and utilities
7. Coordinating supervisors to ensure effective staff supervision and task performance
8. Motivating staff and fostering teamwork
9. Enforcing dress code and patron behavior standards
10. Maintaining statistical and financial records
11. Providing detailed daily reports for management

The ideal candidate will have:

1. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
2. Honesty, reliability, and enthusiasm for service excellence
3. Integrity and strong problem-solving skills
4. The ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Multitasking and time management skills under pressure
6. 2-3 years of experience in Hospitality Management or Duty Management
7. Current RMLV certificate and approved Managers license
8. Current RSA and RSG Statements of Attainment
9. Professional appearance and presentation
10. Flexibility to work weekends and nights
