We're looking for an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person to join our team as an AOD Case Manager— someone who understands the importance of culture, connection, and community in healing.
About The Role
In this role, you’ll work closely with our people—building trust, creating safe spaces, and helping participants find their own pathways forward. Your knowledge of culture and lived experience will be a guiding light in your work, supporting others in a way that is respectful, empowering, and grounded in Country.

Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate individual and group sessions, case meetings, and advocacy
* Provide warm referrals and collaborate with service providers and stakeholders
* Support participants with appointments, treatment planning, and follow-ups
* Contribute to cultural safety by sharing your knowledge with staff and building understanding
* Carry out intake and assessments to identify each person’s strengths and needs
* Help create space for connection—back to culture, family, and community
This position is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants only, as TSA considers that being Aboriginal or a Torres Strait Islander is a genuine occupational requirement for the position in accordance with the 'Anti-Discrimination Act 1992 s.35(b) (NT).
The ideal candidate would have
* Qualifications (min. certificate IV) in community services or similar
* Demonstrated previous experience working in a similar position
* Experience working with people who may not have English as a first language
* In-depth knowledge of local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and culture
* A national criminal history check (to be completed during the recruitment process)
* NT Working with Children check is required prior to commencement
* A current First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain
* A current driver’s license
