Family Support Worker
This is a dynamic opportunity to join our team as a Family Support Worker.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with families and children affected by family and domestic violence, providing emotional support and guidance.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct home visits and provide face-to-face support to clients in their own homes or community settings.
2. Assess client needs and develop individualized plans to address these needs.
3. Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, counselors, and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
Requirements:
* Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling and demonstrated eligibility for or current membership of the relevant professional body or registration with AHPRA.
* Demonstrated experience in delivering counseling services to children using a whole-of-family approach on issues including complex trauma, grief and loss, and behavioral difficulties.
