**Supported Independent Living & Community Manager - Sydney**

Breaking Barriers Disability Services is a NDIS Registered Provider servicing all areas from Sydney, the Central Coast and the Mid North Coast. We pride ourselves on providing person centered supports to our Participants through Community Access, In Home Supports, Social Supports, Coordination of Supports, Supported Independent Living and Community Nursing.
Our Programs are tailored to provide people living with disabilities and their families, services to help them live safely and comfortably at home while actively enjoying their local Community.
Due to Company expansion, we are seeking to employ a SIL & Community Manager to assist in establishing our Sydney presence.
Supporting Senior Management you will lead, guide and offer professional support to our participants and staff members.
**You will be expected to**:
- Sourcing, Supervision and Set up of Supported Independent Living (SIL) properties in Sydney Region
- Provide Direct Disability Support Work to our Participants
- Carry out all administration duties including maintaining accurate NDIS participants records and progress reports, reports to Management, Participant notes, support data, NDIS claims etc.
- Identify all marketing and networking opportunities to grow our organisation
- Monitoring and maintaining our after hours On-Call phone.
- Sourcing suitable NDIS participants to grow the organisation
- Work alongside our Recruitment Team to recruit current staff
- Create and maintain Staff Rosters
**Essential Criteria:
- **
1. Experience and/or knowledge of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS)
2. Tertiary Qualification in Management, Disability, Human Services, Community Welfare Work or other related Behavioural or Social Science
3. A commitment to the values of dignity, respect, inclusion, empowerment, confidentiality, privacy and strength-based practice
4. Experience in Disability Support / Management
5. Drivers Licence Essential
