Overview
Netball NSW is a not-for-profit organisation governed by a Board of Directors and managed by professional staff. As the peak state sporting organisation for netball in New South Wales, we oversee the governance, development, promotion and administration of the sport at all levels. Our scope includes nearly 115,000 registered members and over 150,000 total participants, who benefit from a wide range of programs, facilities and services.

Purpose of the Position
This role delivers quality, timely customer service to visitors, members, sponsors, staff and the public. It is pivotal in creating a positive impression of Netball NSW and involves managing inbound calls and directing them to the appropriate departments. Administrative responsibilities are varied and are outlined below.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Administration
Maintain reception and front desk to high standards of presentation.
Answer and transfer calls in a professional, timely, friendly manner.
Meet and greet members, sponsors, venue hirers, contractors and guests.
Handle general enquiries and customer service.
Assist the GM – Venue Operations to maximise venue bookings and sales.
Office/Venue Management
Maintain adequate inventory of office supplies and equipment.
Oversee L4 office areas ensuring a high standard of presentation, cleanliness and safety.
Ensure consumables (milk, tea, coffee, sugar) are stocked daily.
Manage outbound courier bookings and distribute deliveries.
Coordinate Netball Central meeting room bookings for staff.
Raise purchase orders and process invoices for venue and admin expenditure.
Maintain weekly office checklists and reports.
Ensure printers/photocopiers are operational and stocked.
Communication & Liaison
Manage the switchboard phone.
Sales
Oversee ordering, sales and stocktake of INF rule books and NNSW game day diaries.
Relationships
Build and maintain professional relationships with Netball NSW Executive, High Performance teams, archival staff, external venue hirers, tenants, contractors, guests, etc.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Experience in a similar role.
High level of computer expertise (Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office).
Current driver's licence.
Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Knowledge and Skills
Professional customer service orientation.
Well-presented appearance.
Ability to multi-task and focus on multiple issues simultaneously.
Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.
