**Engineering & Infrastructure Department**
Engineering & Infrastructure Department is responsible to ensure that Monash Health facilities, buildings & infrastructure assets are managed & maintained at appropriate standards for critical health services delivery. We are responsible for a range of capital/minor works projects, infrastructure and assets replacement programs. We are responsible to ensure all our buildings, facilities & infrastructure are built & maintained to meet all relevant mandatory statutory regulations, codes, standards & guidelines.
**Administration Officer, Engineering & Infrastructure Department**
Due to an internal promotion, fantastic opportunity for an **Administrative Assistant** to join the Engineering team. In this integral, you will greet and support all visitors including contractors and suppliers as well as plan, direct and coordinate the various administration and technical administration activities of the Engineering Department.As the face of the Engineering team, this diverse role will see you also:
- Provide quality customer service and follow-up of enquiries and demonstrate a proactive approach to the role
- Collect data and generate reports for management, answer calls, respond to queries, manage office supplies, place of orders and departmental filing.
- Communicate clearly, attention to detail and prioritise effectively
- Build rapport and engage with stakeholders including Director Engineering & Infrastructure, Engineering Managers, Senior Engineering Manager, Office Co-ordinator, engineering staff, campus managers, contractors and other external service providers as required
- Support other administrative duties as directed and position description
- Carry out compliance and improvement against the key elements of quality and safety
- Ensure contractor management, procurement practices are followed in accordance with relevant policies & procedures (IPROC)
