- Looking for a challenge that's out of the ordinary? Look no further! We're seeking a motivated, exceptional Logistics Manager to join our engaging and passionate Logistics and Courier teams and drive continuous improvement.- Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Manage and oversee the day to day courier operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of items
- Manage and oversee the day to day warehouse operations, including purchasing, receiving, storage, distribution, archiving, inventory stock control and administration
- Manage the purchase, storage and distribution of Vaccines for QML Pathology and external stakeholders
- Manage a team of warehouse and courier team members, providing leadership, guidance, and training as required
- Develop and implement procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in the warehouse and on delivery vehicles
- Work closely with the Laboratory Operations Manager to develop and implement strategies to grow the business
**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain / Business Management / Lean manufacturing / 6 Sigma or demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Planning and organisational skills to facilitate meeting budget targets and completion of projects as planned
- Demonstrated culture of continuously seeking opportunities for different and innovative approaches to problems and opportunities
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment or a logistics/ courier environment in the health care industry(preferrable)
- Solid problem solving and analytical skills
- Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems, Inventory Management and courier management principles
- Demonstrated leadership capability leading a highly productive team for results excellence
- Effective communication skills in individual and group situations
