* $36.08 per hour inclusive of casual loading - plus 15% afternoon shift loading
* Food Packaging Manufacturing industry and FMCG experience essential
We currently have an opportunity for a dynamic and driven Quality Control Officer who is interested in manufacturing quality assurance and the potential for long term employment.
The ideal candidate will ultimately demonstrate good record keeping skills and a desire to learn and develop with a reputable National company. Full training and support will be provided with a QA Manager being assigned as the candidates mentor.
Duties Of The Role Include, But Not Limited To
* Conduct laboratory measurements for all products in accordance with the quality plan
* Perform visual inspections of products on the production floor to ensure compliance with standards
* Be familiar with company quality policy, product safety & quality objectives, quality procedures and work instructions.
* Conduct incoming material inspections in accordance with the inspection plan
* Review and monitoring of production paperwork to ensure compliance to the quality management system
* Maintain document control of quality management procedures and associated documents (achieve, update and issue quality documents as directed)
* Coordinate action on customer complaints after discussion with Process Operators and Production Manager
* Conduct in-house product inspection & testing
* Ensure all HACCP Plan verification activities are complete. Coordination of equipment calibration as per quality manual.
* Participate in the company's environmental monitoring program
* Review and file incoming goods documentation
* Monitoring operational GMP compliance
* To communicate and promote Food Safety Culture in the organisation
* Other duties as directed
Skills And Qualifications
* The QC Officer has at least 2+ years of experience in this role.
* The QC Officer has tertiary qualifications fit for verifying QC tasks and records.
* The QC Officer knowledge and experience in QC tasks at hand.
