We're looking for a Volunteer Co-ordinator to help recruit, train, guide, and support our incredible volunteer team at our Coffs Harbour Shelter.

Key Responsibilities
Recruit, train, supervise, and support volunteers to high levels of performance, confidence, and role satisfaction.
Maintain a strong volunteer roster to meet operational needs (including occasional weekend work).
Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand training needs and facilitate productive roles for volunteers.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date volunteer records are kept in the RSPCA NSW Volunteer System.
Conduct regular check-ins, periodic appraisals, and performance evaluations.
Maintain safe environments, compliant with Work Health & Safety standards.
Ensure adherence to RSPCA NSW policies and procedures.
What We Are Looking For
A confident communicator who can inspire and guide a team.
Experience in coordinating, supervising, or training volunteers/staff, or relevant leadership experience.
Strong organisation skills and a love for well-structured systems and rosters.
Proficiency in using databases/systems and maintaining accurate records.
Ability to provide constructive feedback and support performance improvement.
A calm, practical, solutions-focused approach in a busy shelter environment.
