Join us as an Earthworks and Pavement Project Engineer, where you'll lead site teams, manage construction progress, and drive safe, efficient project delivery. You'll handle risk management, safety training, cost tracking, and mentor junior engineers. If you're ready to take ownership of forecasting, design improvements, and team coordination, while staying sharp on industry standards and company policies we'd love to hear from you.
About the role:
* Drive Safety and Compliance - Take ownership of all health, safety, environment and quality responsibilities, and actively escalate risks to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
* Lead Teams and Workforce - Manage site crews, subcontractors, and junior engineers, ensuring work meets standards while mentoring and developing team capability.
* Track Costs and Performance - Monitor and report on project costs, productivity, and revenue using relevant systems, while supporting construction forecasts and progress reporting.
* Improve and Implement Design - Interpret and adjust construction designs for efficiency and constructability, contributing to design enhancements and project outcomes.
* Support Planning and Delivery - Coordinate construction activities in line with plans and specifications, attend key site meetings, and ensure smooth day-to-day project execution.
