Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Surrey Hills, VIC for a Tax Accountant. The Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, preparing tax returns, managing tax-related inquiries, and providing informed guidance on tax matters. Collaboration with clients to address their accounting and taxation needs will be an integral part of the role, alongside maintaining precise and timely financial reporting.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and general Tax-related processes
* Strong knowledge of Financial Statements and their analysis
* Background in Accounting and understanding of relevant principles
* High attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem‑solving capability
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field (CPA or CA qualification is a plus)
* Experience working in public practice or with business clients across industries is desirable
