Join Tradezone, a fast-growing, national wholesaling company representing leading brands in the Electrical Industry, including Clipsal, Hager, NHP, Jinko, Fronius, and more. As a key player in innovation and technology, we are seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic team on the Gold Coast.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our state-of-the-art, custom-built, web-based purchasing software platforms. You will support experienced buyers with administrative tasks while being mentored for future growth into a senior role.

Take ownership of critical processes, contributing to the improvement and maintenance of our purchasing procedures and website data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

* Monitor and update Purchase Order ETAs, ensuring timely communication with national sales teams
* Perform day-to-day ordering tasks
* Maintain accurate price files
* Collaborate with lead buyers to develop forecast documents
* Follow up on supplier invoices and resolve discrepancies
* Address short shipments and price variations
* Process supplier credits within our Accounts package
* Create new product listings with high-quality data and content
* Maintain tracking spreadsheets for the Purchasing and Accounting Departments

Required Skills and Qualifications

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong focus on Excel
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills
* High-level communication skills, both written and verbal, including report writing
* Motivated, enthusiastic, and disciplined
* Ability to contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture
