About the Economic Development Role
This newly created position provides administrative and engagement support to deliver the Council's Economic Development Program.
The key focus areas of the position include maintaining a business contact database, preparing communications and promotional materials, coordinating industry events and meetings, and responding to business enquiries.
Requirements
* Demonstrated behavior that showcases creativity, accessibility, respect, energy, and safety.
* A vocational certificate in business administration, tourism, communications or a related field, and/or sufficient experience in an administrative or office support environment.
* Demonstrated experience supporting events, stakeholder communications or business engagement activities.
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders.
* High level computer literacy with experience in Microsoft 365 and other corporate software, including familiarity with CRM systems or stakeholder databases.
