The Youth Worker role supports vulnerable children and families in Mildura. This position involves active outreach and engagement with at-risk young people under Child Protection intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Complex Case Management, supporting children and families in the statutory system.
* Provide active outreach and engagement for the YJCSS, a voluntary support service for young people involved with Youth Justice.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or relevant studies are essential.
* Experience working with challenging behaviours and social difficulties is required.
* Understanding of child protection legislation and youth justice systems is necessary.
