About the role
We are looking for an experienced IT Business Systems Analyst with a strong finance and ERP background to join our collaborative IT team, primarily supporting the corporate functions, as well as engagement with our operating assets where required. This role is key to bridging business and technology - enhancing systems and processes, streamlining data access, and enabling strategic decision-making.
You will contribute to supporting our key finance systems (Pronto Xi, Anaplan) while also working with other business stakeholders across multiple departments. Your finance experience will extend to analysis and reporting in support of our Data and Analytics team.
This role will also support a variety of other projects within the corporate function in Australia.
Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to)
* Analyse and model existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and support solution design.
* Engage with business stakeholders to understand challenges, gather requirements, and define solution objectives.
* Manage and prioritise enhancement requests and change controls related to business systems
* Extract and analyse information from Pronto ERP
* Document and translate business requirements into specifications for IT teams and solution partners.
About You
* 5+ years of experience in a similar role
* Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., Pronto, SAP), including process analysis, configuration support, and stakeholder engagement.
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst within IT environments, preferably in the mining, resources, or industrial sectors.
* Exposure to business process mapping (e.g., BPMN) and requirements gathering techniques.
