The Company:
Infrared Inspections and Technologies (IIAT) is a progressive company that provides bespoke holistic condition monitoring data collection and analysis solutions specialising in utlising multiple CM tools to identify failure modes in heavy mobile equipment, draglines, electric face shovels and fixed plant.
IIAT is a t prides itself on thinking outside the box to provide reliability solutions for their clients. We conduct CM services for leading Tier 1 mining companies and contractors and operate on machinery from the drill to the train load out facility.
The Opportunity:
Due to an increase in demand for our services, we are currently requiring several experienced mechanical condition monitoring technicians with Vibration Analysis, Thermography and preferably Airborne/Structure Borne Ultrasound Analysis skills, qualifications and experience to join our growing team.
The positions are predominately vibration analysis with some mechanical and electrical Thermography.
These exciting positions would suit DIDO or FIFO applicants, with an 8 day on and 6 day off roster as well as a 4 day on and 3 day off roster (Monday to Thursday) available.
Existing training and experience in Vibration Analysis (Cat 2), is a necessity.
IIAT provides a distinct education and career path in the various data collection methodologies and into analytics roles for the right candidate.
The Roles:
The purpose of these autonomous positions is to ultimately improve our clients asset reliability by conducting predictive maintenance and condition monitoring activities, analysing data, and making recommendations.
Implementing new strategies and technologies where required is also a requirement when opportunities arise.
The position requires the technician to report directly to and work with the site reliability and maintenance management team under the guidance of IIAT.
Training will be supplied in areas where experience is limited.
The Requirements:
Essential:
* Minimum 2 years as a qualified Cat 2 Vibration Analyst.
* Extensive experience and knowledge of Vibration analysis of rotating bearings.
* Extensive experience in Vibration analysis software.
* Experience in using MS Office, Word and Excel
* A willingness to learn, accept new technologies and an ability to 'think outside the box'.
* Self starter, self managing capabilities.
* Qld vehicle drivers licence is a must
Preferred:
* Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 induction.
* Trade Qualification.
* Minimum Cat 1 qualified Thermographer.
* Cat 1 in Airborne/Structure Borne Analysis
* High level of mechanical and/or electrical trade experience
* Current Working at Heights and Confined Space.
