Abbey Beach Resort is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our front office team. This vital role involves overseeing the overnight operations of the hotel, ensuring the accuracy of guest accounts, balancing charges, and providing excellent guest service through the night.
Your expertise in managing night shifts, performing audits, and ensuring the safety and security of the hotel will ensure that Abbey Beach Resort continues to deliver exceptional experiences to guests.
Key Responsibilities
• Check guests in and out efficiently, delivering exceptional service throughout the night
• Handle guest inquiries and requests, ensuring a smooth and positive guest experience
• Resolve guest complaints or issues with patience and professionalism
• Complete nightly audits, balancing guest accounts, payments, and transactions
• Verify revenue postings, ensuring all charges and receipts are accurate
• Handle reservations and assist with guest payments and inquiries
• Maintain security and safety protocols during overnight operations
• Liaise with other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Night Porter) to ensure seamless operations
• Accurately complete night audit reports and distribute to management
• Maintain an organised front desk and administrative area
What We're Looking For
• Previous experience in a customer-facing or front office role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when balancing accounts and financial reports
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a flexible approach to tasks
• Availability for night shifts, including weekends and public holidays
