About the role
Step into a leadership role where your expertise shapes safe, high-quality pharmacy services across the region. As Regional Lead Pharmacist, you will lead day‑to‑day operations across designated sites, ensuring medication management is patient‑centred, compliant, and aligned with SA Pharmacy and Regional Local Health Network priorities. You will provide clinical leadership, oversee workforce planning and resources, and ensure services are responsive, efficient and outcome‑focused.
You will mentor and develop pharmacists, interns, students and support staff, fostering a culture of learning, accountability and continuous improvement. With a strong focus on medication safety and service innovation, you will contribute to policy development, lead quality initiatives, analyse data to inform decisions, and provide expert advice across hospitals and aged care settings. You will also represent the service on key committees and support statewide priorities.
Based in Port Lincoln, you’ll enjoy a relaxed coastal lifestyle on the Eyre Peninsula, with beautiful ocean views, fresh local seafood and a welcoming regional community.
About You
You are an experienced and forward‑thinking pharmacy leader who brings strong clinical expertise, a collaborative mindset and a passion for improving patient care across complex health environments.
* Registered pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent)
* Proven leadership in hospital pharmacy with team management experience
* Strong communication skills with ability to influence practice and build trust
* Skilled in service improvement, change management and data‑informed decisions
