**The Role**
An exciting opportunity exists for a Corporate Receptionist and Human Resources Administrator to join the McCullough Robertson Sydney team! If you are currently studying a degree in HR, or have a career in Corporate Reception and looking to upskill, this is the perfect role for you.
Reporting to the Head of Human Resources - Sydney, this newly created position is responsible for supporting the Corporate Reception team, as well as performing administrative duties for the Human Resources team.
Corporate Reception duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answer and announce all incoming calls and take messages where appropriate;
- Manage bookings for client floor meeting rooms including liaising with internal staff and caterers to ensure booking requirements are actioned accordingly;
- Greet visitors upon arrival and direct them to meeting rooms where appropriate;
- In conjunction with the Office and Client Services Manager and the Office Services Clerk, coordinate room set ups in the client areas in accordance with set up instructions;
- Ensure consistent presentation throughout day for the reception waiting area and meeting rooms with all areas clean and ready for use;
- Manage delivery process for both incoming and outgoing requirements to ensure prompt delivery;
- Courier bookings and taxi bookings;
- Making and serving of tea and coffee;
- Provide support with the set up of audio visual equipment for events or client meetings, as well as basic troubleshooting or escalating issues when required;
- Liaise with Building Management and other contractors as required to ensure the Sydney office facilities meet the firm's expectations; and
- Other tasks as directed by the Office and Client Services Manager.
Human Resources Administration duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide administration support to Head of Human Resources - Sydney and Human Resources Adviser;
- Manage the booking of travel and accommodation for Sydney HR team and for general Sydney staff for L&D sessions when required;
- Maintaining adequate stock levels for new starter merchandise;
- Assist with the Clerk and Graduate program preparation and organisation;
- Assist HR Adviser with managing and set up of internal training events and seminars; and
- Other tasks as directed by the Head of Human Resources - Sydney and HR Adviser.

- Collaborative, enthusiastic and keen to offer new ideas, suggestions, and improvements;
- Excellent phone manner, customer service and communication skills; and
- High-level written and verbal communication is an important aspect of the role.
