About the Role As a Truck Jockey, you will assist drivers in delivering products to customers in a friendly, safe, and efficient manner.
You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations while representing the company positively at all times.
Key Responsibilities: Safely relocate materials using manual handling techniques and equipment Assist with loading/unloading and ensure accurate delivery of products Communicate any issues with customers, loads, or equipment to your supervisor promptly Adhere to Occupational Health Safety (OH S) and HACCP requirements Follow company procedures and maintain compliance with safety policies and legal obligations Promote a positive safety and compliance culture through responsible actions Requirements Current driver's license Ability to lift and move heavy items safely Availability for early starts and flexible hours Previous experience in a similar role or delivery environment (advantageous) Understanding of OH S and food safety standards Reliable transport to and from work Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Must pass a police check What We're Looking For Skills: Ability to use handheld devices (e.g., palm pilot) for delivery management Understanding of HACCP and food safety standards Basic computer/data entry skills Knowledge of the foodservice industry and cold chain requirements Ability to work independently and manage schedules Strong teamwork and reliability Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills and customer focus Punctual, respectful, and safety-conscious Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks Why Join Us?
