Research Scientist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled research scientist to contribute to our team's efforts in Statistical Data Science. The successful applicant will have expertise in computational statistics, spatial statistics, Bayesian inference and uncertainty quantification, or closely related fields.

The role will involve working on research projects that span statistical machine learning, time series modelling, and optimal design, with the potential for collaboration with international researchers and industry partners.
The successful applicant will have published manuscripts in internationally reviewed journals, and possess skills relevant to research in Statistical Data Science, including literature review, software development, qualitative and quantitative research, and publication.
* PhD in Computational Statistics, Spatial Statistics, Bayesian Inference and Uncertainty Quantification, or closely related field;
* Strong track record of publishing manuscripts in internationally reviewed journals;
* Excellent programming skills, particularly in Python and R;
* Familiarity with data science tools and technologies, such as scikit-learn and TensorFlow;
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
This is a fixed-term, full-time research only appointment (2 years). The salary will be commensurate with experience.
