Accountant Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with a diverse range of clients and be part of a dynamic, collaborative environment.
This position is ideal for an experienced accountant with a strong background in business services, eager to advance their career while working with a sophisticated client base.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and be integral to complex accounting and taxation engagements
2. Be a regular point of contact for your clients, ensuring consistency in exceptional client service
3. Collaborate as part of a team and work with Managers towards client success
As the ideal candidate, you will be degree-qualified and working towards your CA/CPA qualification.
You will have experience with preparing GST, FBT and payroll tax returns, as well as most aspects of accounting and tax compliance, including preparation of financial statements, tax reconciliations, income tax returns and tax effect accounting for companies, trusts and tax consolidated groups.
You will also have the ability to use, navigate and troubleshoot common client accounting software packages (i.e., MYOB and Xero), and larger enterprise products.
Additionally, you will have well-refined oral and written communication skills, comprehensive Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to efficiently work with large datasets.
