The Opportunity:
The Senior Software Developeris responsible to the Project Manager to provide technical support for a number of projects supporting our Defence client.
Responsibilities:
The duties include but are not limited to:
1. Developing high quality software in accordance with relevant standards and processes
2. Contributing to all agile software development sprint events
3. Assisting with task decomposition and the estimation of work
4. Assisting with system testing as part of the development process, including performance and unit testing
5. Assisting with system documentation
6. Representing Sigma Bravo in a professional manner and adhering to Sigma Bravo policies and practices as outlined in the Business Management System and Security documentation
7. Other tasks as directed by Sigma Bravo management.
Essential:
8. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
9. Experience and knowledge of C#, Windows Presentation Foundation (WFP), Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and Unit Testing
10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
11. Excellent organisation/prioritisation skills
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
13. AGSVA Negative Vetting Level 1
Desirable:
14. Microsoft Certifications or equivalent experience.
15. Bachelor’s degree in information technology or Bachelor’s degree in computer science.
16. ITIL Foundations V3 or V4.
17. Strong Networking skills.
