T2 Electrical & Data Casual / Temp role $38 – $50+ per hour + super (Gold Coast)
At T2 Electrical & Data, we're a fast-growing company passionate about delivering high-quality commercial electrical solutions. We specialise in sports lighting installations and maintenance, and we're proud to work on exciting, projects across SE Queensland.
We're currently seeking motivated and reliable Electrical Trade Assistant to join our team on a casual or temporary basis, with potential for full-time employment for the right candidate.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a specialised field, working alongside experienced electricians on outdoor projects that make a real impact in the community.
What We Offer
* $38 – $50+ per hour + super, depending on experience and licences
* Casual / temporary engagement with a pathway to full-time
* Minimum 40-hour work week (Monday to Friday)
* Immediate start for suitable applicants
* Supportive team and access to unique project experience in the sports lighting sector
What We're Looking For
* Construction White Card
* Current Driver's Licence
* Scissor / EWP licence (above 11m) – highly desirable
* Experience assisting electricians or working on construction/electrical sites (preferred)
* Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors and at heights
* Motivated, team-oriented, and keen to learn from experienced tradespeople
What You'll Be Doing
* Installing a wide range of specialised electrical systems across diverse commercial applications
* Assisting with the installation and maintenance of outdoor lighting systems
* Installing a wide range of specialised electrical systems across diverse commercial applications
* Handling and transporting tools, equipment, and materials
* Working alongside licensed electricians to install Lights, Cables, Switchboards and control panels
* Ensuring the worksite remains clean, safe, and compliant with WHS standards
* Learning and developing your skills in a niche electrical trade environment
