Veolia has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Supervisor to work with our NSW Northern Region’s Industrial Services team, to be based out of Tomago.What's on offerThe opportunity to work with long term Veolia customers, and scope new business within the region.Join a highly experienced and supportive management team who will work with you to achieve yours and Veolia’s goals.Have access to Veolia’s vast array of corporate discounts.What you'll be responsible forReporting to the Operations Manager you will provide operational and technical supervision of works performed.Functions include high pressure water jetting, blasting, vacuum loading and general labouring.Facilitate job start-ups and review jobs for compliance permits and documentation required.Monitor and lead team performance of all onsite staff including Veolia employees, labour hire and contractors.Ensure that all team members are adequately trained and qualified to perform their duties in a safe, competent and responsible manner to Veolia and client standards.Manage Veolia assets in line with our policy and processes; ensuring all daily operational checks are completed and documented.Maintain strong relationships with all Veolia and client stakeholders to deliver a high performance of contract obligations.What you'll need to be successfulSupervisory or leading hand experience in a heavy industrial environment.A working knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery.Intermediate IT skills, with a particular focus on database management and spreadsheets.Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal).Well-developed interpersonal skills, including ability to clarify and resolve customer service issues.Highly developed customer focus.Additional InformationVeolia ANZ values employees and their health and wellbeing.
