As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining our Active Directory (AD) environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Domain Controller Management
2. Ensure Domain Controllers are healthy and backups are maintained for recovery purposes.
3. Manage replication and perform regular health checks to prevent errors.
4. AD Sites and Services
5. Manage root certificates and other related certificates for AD and the environment.
6. Manage Group Policy and Citrix environments.
7. Implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
8. Monitor and maintain AD security.
9. Ensure servers are at the correct patch level.
10. Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as tidying up redundant security groups.
11. Clean up user and computer accounts, disable accounts, and document processes and procedures.
12. Manage service accounts.
13. Integrate MFA solutions, e.g., with Okta, Office 365, etc.
14. Manage interdependencies with network services like DNS and DHCP.
15. Ensure high availability of AD services.
16. Continuously improve AD infrastructure through ongoing enhancements.
17. Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement and explore opportunities for enhancement.
