Job Description
In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in creating healthy menus for children of all ages.
You will have access to a national network of centre cooks who regularly share recipes, questions, ideas and tips. This collaborative environment will enable you to grow and develop as a cook.
* This role is ideal for an efficient and capable cook who can prepare, implement and evaluate the nutritional content of menus.
* Experience in bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management and budget control is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current Food Safety and Handlers (Health and Community) Certificate
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery / equivalent (desirable)
* Experience in an early childhood setting
* Reliable transport to and from our centre
* Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) and resuscitation certificate
