Your Opportunity 
Join us at Mission Australia's Triple Care Farm, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming the lives of young people aged 16-24 on their journey to recovery from alcohol and other drug use! 
The Walawaani Residential Rehabilitation Service is located on 17 acres of bushland surrounded by stunning beaches and Nationals Parks, our residential program offers more than just a place to stay – it's a holistic sanctuary of support and growth. 
As a Youth Worker, you'll be at the heart of this transformative experience, providing essential support and supervision to our participants. From educating them on crucial interpersonal and living skills to organizing engaging sport and recreation activities, you'll help them build resilience and confidence for their future.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be To 
Provide compassionate support and supervision to young people always ensuring their safety and well-being 
Through engaging programs focused on interpersonal and living skills, you'll empower young people with the tools they need to thrive beyond their time at Triple Care Farm. 
Your quick and accurate response to any incidents will maintain a safe environment, with detailed reports ensuring transparency and accountability. 
Work alongside young people to maintain facilities and complete meal preparation. 
Collaborating with the Case Coordinator, you'll contribute to case planning and monitoring meetings 
Maintain residential files ensuring behaviour records, progress notes are filed correctly. 
Resolve participant complaints or refer them to a supervisor as necessary to maintain a positive and supportive environment 
Supervise young people when attending any off-site activities ensuring their safety and adherence to program guidelines. 
Requirements for Success 
Relevant qualification or experience in working with youth in the community. 
Knowledge of mental health issues, substance use treatment and working with youth. 
Demonstrated sound interpersonal and communication skills. 
Understanding of adolescent mental health issues and duty of care 
First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain. 
Current NSW Drivers Licence 
Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, and referee checks, and have a clearance to work with children/vulnerable people.
