Contract Administrator Role
The ideal candidate for this contract administration position will oversee the management of operations and maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain all operational and maintenance contracts to ensure alignment with organisational objectives
* Prepare detailed reports for senior leadership, validate contractor claims, calculate payments and maintain accurate records
* Serve as a key member in procurement planning cycles by conducting market research, facilitating tender processes, negotiating agreements and ensuring alignment with organisational values
* Identify potential risks within contracts and develop effective mitigation strategies while fostering collaboration across departments
What You Need to Bring:
* Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in contract administration roles
* Strong skills in drafting, negotiating and preparing contracts for goods or services procurement adhering to legislative requirements
* Extensive experience managing operations and maintenance contracts in dynamic environments where attention to detail is crucial
* Exceptional financial management skills including budget control and reporting with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite TechnologyOne experience desirable
* Excellent communication skills and knowledge of public sector procurement policies and compliance requirements
