Global Marketing Officer

Details: The CIT Marketing team at the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is seeking a Global Marketing Officer to support the development and delivery of international marketing and student recruitment activities. This role offers the opportunity to strengthen CIT’s brand positioning and attract, engage and recruit future international students through targeted campaigns, events and content.
We are looking for a motivated and collaborative professional who is confident in developing and implementing student-focused marketing activities informed by research and insights. The ideal candidate will enjoy working across teams, building strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to the evaluation and continuous improvement of CIT’s international marketing initiatives.
The successful applicant will work under the general direction of the CIT Marketing Assistant Manager, within a multidisciplinary team that values creativity, collaboration and evidence-based decision making.

The primary responsibilities of the role will include:
- Coordinating and delivering a range of international marketing and student recruitment activities, including campaigns, content, creative and events.
- Developing and implementing student-focused marketing initiatives informed by research, insights and evaluation.
- Building and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes in international student recruitment.
- Providing advice and support to CIT International, colleges and departments to engage prospective students in priority markets.
- Contributing to a respectful, inclusive and professional workplace, in line with ACT Public Service (ACTPS) values and the Respect, Equity and Diversity Framework.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or professional experience in marketing, communications, student recruitment or events management will be highly regarded.
- Experience in marketing to a global audience in a tertiary education environment will be highly regarded.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months.
