We are a newish busy Japanese restaurant located in Mornington, seeking an experienced and motivated Part-Time Floor Manager to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality who enjoys leading a team and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced dining environment.
About the Role
As Floor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily front-of-house operations and ensuring a smooth and professional service experience. You will work closely with the owner and kitchen team to maintain high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising and supporting front-of-house staff
* Ensuring excellent customer service and guest satisfaction
* Managing reservations and floor coordination
* Training and mentoring junior staff
* Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
* Assisting with opening and closing procedures
* Supporting beverage service (including liquor service)
About You
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in hospitality
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Well-presented, professional and reliable
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* RSA certificate (required)
* Availability to work evenings and weekends
