The Paediatric Occupational Therapist is a vital member of the multidisciplinary Child, Youth and Family Team. This role plays a key part in delivering clinical services to children, youth, and families within our community.
About The Role
This position focuses on assessing child and youth clients with diverse referral reasons, providing comprehensive assessments of daily living activities and school environments, and developing goal-directed interventions.
* Demonstrate experience assessing mild to moderate developmental delays, and developing appropriate treatment plans.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members in case discussions, care planning, and joint treatment sessions.
* Provide supervision and mentoring to Allied Health Assistants and undergraduate/masters OT students.
* Achieve monthly client target hours and Key Performance Indicators.

Qualifications and Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* An experienced Paediatric Grade 2 Occupational Therapist who will manage a caseload of child and youth clients (Aged 0-18) with a diverse range of referral reasons.
* Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, and adherence to continuing professional development requirements.
