The Opportunity
We are seeking a senior clinical leader to join our executive team as Chief of Clinical Capability and Research.
This is a strategic, Chief-level appointment responsible for shaping national clinical capability frameworks, leading translational research, and validating innovative embedded care models prior to scale.
The role focuses on system-level leadership, governance, workforce capability and research translation.
This is a rare opportunity to influence how embedded pharmacist-led models are designed, evaluated and scaled nationally to improve the health and wellness of the Foundation's priority populations.
Key Responsibilities Clinical Capability & Governance
* Design and oversee national clinical capability frameworks
* Optimise the Equity Care Onsite Pharmacist (ECOP) clinical model
* Establish quality and governance standards across partner settings
* Strengthen advanced practice pathways and professional development structures
Research & Model Validation and Translation
* Lead translational research validating embedded clinical models
* Develop partnerships with universities, hospitals and research institutions
* Oversee evaluation frameworks and outcomes reporting
* Translate findings into scalable, fundable and defensible models
Strategy & Sector Leadership
* Advise the Board and executive colleagues on clinical strategy
* Represent the Foundation in engagement with peak bodies and regulators
* Contribute to professional standards discussions and reform initiatives related to the ECOP model
* Support policy-facing conversations aligned to health equity and system strengthening
About You
You are an experienced senior pharmacist or clinical leader with:
* Strong background in clinical governance and capability development
* Experience leading high-performing clinical teams (ideally beyond State lines)
* Demonstrated engagement with professional peaks, advisory groups and government bodies
* A track record in research, evaluation or translational model development and implementation
* High professional integrity and strategic judgement
