**The Opportunity**
Working in a high-performance culture and in collaboration with the company's MSPs, our client requires an experienced and motivated IT Infrastructure & Systems Manager to join their talented Technical Services team, to support on-premise, cloud and SaaS infrastructure environments.
This role requires someone with excellent technical capabilities working with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, MS SQL and MS Azure. Working closely with senior managers and the Technical Service Team, you will need to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

This is a full-time permanent position, based at the company's head office in Oakleigh, Melbourne.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Provide in-house end-user support, workstation configuration & IT support
- Maintain IT systems & procedures according to ISO 27001 Information Security Management System standards
- Collaborate with Managed Service Providers to support on-premise & cloud infrastructure
- Present technology roadmaps & IT budgets to management
- Support IT infrastructure & data center, including VMware, LANs, WANs, Azure, network & security, backup & storage, intranets, SFTP & other communication systems
- Audit backups, review logs, & support recovery plans to decrease system failure risk

**Skills & Experience**:
- Skilled IT professional with excellent communication skills (verbal & written English)
- Experience as a team lead in IT database, infrastructure, security, or network technology
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (preferred: Bachelors in Information Technology, Infrastructure Network & Systems Administration with Cyber Security focus)
- Strong time management & organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Broad technical background: Vmware, Windows Server, MS Azure, MS SQL Server, Windows desktop OS, MS SCCM, MS Office 365, IIS/SSL
- Intermediate networking knowledge: LAN, WAN, WLAN
- Experience in routing, switching & firewalls (WatchGuard and Cisco)
- Ability to provide Level 1 & 2 IT support and manage budgets
- Knowledge of ISO 27001 (highly desirable)
- The ability to write professional documentation
