As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Adelaide team and support residential and small-scale development projects from feasibility through to construction.
Role Overview
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for providing technical engineering support across projects, ensuring designs, documentation, and site activities comply with Australian Standards, local authority requirements, and company quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
● Prepare and review civil engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
● Assist with site inspections and monitor construction works for compliance and quality.
● Coordinate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and consultants.
● Support project planning, scheduling, and cost control activities.
● Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, NCC, and local council regulations.
● Identify and resolve engineering issues during design and construction stages.
● Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and documentation for management.
● Support approvals, permits, and authority submissions where required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
● Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
● Minimum 1 years of experience in civil or construction-related projects (graduate roles may also be considered).
● Sound knowledge of Australian construction practices and standards.
● Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar).
● Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
