We are looking for new staff to join our fun team of party hosts for Children's birthday parties. This position involves travelling all over Sydney to people's homes or venues. We get into characters such as Queen Elsa, Aurora, Cinderella, spider man, wonder women, captain America and more to face paint the children, balloon twisting, dancing and give then pamper treats.
This position require you to resemble the princess/Marvel characters and more.
YOU MUST LOVE KIDS
No prior experience is necessary, all training is provided. Must be dedicated to training and have the time for this.
As a party host you must be willing to perform and learn all tasks below
- **You must have your own car and current NSW license.**
- Be fun, loud and VERY confident
- Hosting the event. This means the children are under your control, therefore you have to have a strong personality to coordinate them. Kids will be boys and girls. Conduct a structured event, following the party procedure which we teach you
- Work well on your own and be able to think quick on your feet. Some cases you work with other entertainers.
- Pamper treatments
- Play dancing games, pass the parcel and run other games and activities.
- Face painting

- Communicate with the parents/venue managers.
- Collect money off customers on your shifts.
- You have to transport the equipment and products around with you; therefore it is impossible to travel via public transport. Also this is a travelling job, which means you must be willing to travel all over the Sydney Metropolitan area.
- Our Parramatta office is where you pick the kit up and drop it off on the given days we have discussed, usually Thursday/Friday.
Availability: Preferred to be available from 4pm to 9pm on Friday afternoons but must be available all day Saturday and Sundays.
The duration of the events range from 1 hour - 2.5 hours.
Your interview and training is held at our Parramatta office.

Kids Entertainment Sydney (KES) is a kid's entertainment business specialising in venue entertainment and corporate events for boys and girls. We entertain at venues, halls, offices, clubs, pups and parks. We are a mobile service and love entertaining children.
All products, costumes, equipment and training are provided. We value any artistic flair and love bubbly and respectful applicants. You do not need your own ABN, you will be employed under KES.

Shifts to be fulfilled.
Shifts will be all over Sydney
Pay is $40.00 per hour. Minimum pay is a 2 hour block. Most events are 2-3 hours.
As an entertainer you must be 18 years old or older to work in licensed venues. You must have your own vehicle to travel between venues and carry equipment.
You will be require to wear our character costumes
- fairy, mermaid, princesses, super hero and pirate. Most jobs in December will be the Christmas Elf costume.

- All work will be with a head entertainer, not alone. So you will be guided all the time.
Have fun with the children and keep them under your control, therefore you have to have a strong personality to coordinate them. Kids will be boys and girls.

Balloon twisting, training provided
Play dancing games and activities.
Basic face paint, training provided (this can be discussed as you can just do the entertainment side if you do not want to face paint)

Phone Interview
First step
In the interview you are required to make a balloon animal and a simple face paint design on the arm. This will all be guided.
If you are successful in your interview there is a three step training program before being fully qualified.
Step one - You will be required to come to the venue with the manager/trainer and be involved with the event. This is a great opportunity for you to see what the job involves before starting training. On that day the manager/trainer will decide if you have what it takes and you can decide also. You will be paid at a training rate of $40.00 for two hours.
Step two - You will be required to do some training at our Parramatta head office for balloon twisting (also face painting if we decided on this) This is unpaid training. After this process you then will need to practice the face painting and balloon twisting at home with all products and equipment provided from Kids Entertainment Sydney.
Step three -At this stage you should now be confident to go out with a head entertainer. You will be paid full rate of $40.00 per hour.
