Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Motion Systems Engineer to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for refining the fidelity and responsiveness of our motion platform.
* You will own, maintain and enhance the in-house motion control algorithm developed in MATLAB/Simulink.
* Design, develop and tune motion cueing algorithms for new simulation environments.
* Tune high/low-pass motion filters to maximise motion platform responsiveness.
* Customise motion integration for specific vehicle types while maintaining generic capability.
* Document tuning processes, outcomes and best practices.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system integration and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and enhance in-house motion control algorithm.

Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience in modelling physical or motion systems.
* Strong understanding of control systems, including high-pass/low-pass filters and PID controllers.
* Advanced proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink.
* Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with motion cueing algorithms.
* Familiarity with inverse kinematics and robotic control (especially KUKA/KRL).
* Experience working in Agile software development environments.
* Knowledge of safe operation in mixed human-machine environments.
