Our client is currently looking for Medical Device Service Technicians / Engineers who have technical and operational knowledge primarily for Medical Devices and Assistive Technology utilised within Aged Care and NDIS SIL Homes, along with specialty equipment in Hospitals, Medical Centres and Day Surgery Facilities.
The key responsibilities will include both on-site field and workshop compliance testing (both electrical safety and performance verification), preventative maintenance and subsequent repairs to a wide range of medical-classified equipment to Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3551) within health care facilities.
This important position would require you to deal directly with equipment users and facility management.
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:
* An appropriate technical qualification and preferably a minimum of 2 years industry work experience, preferably in electronics/electrical engineering, which could be accompanied by mechanical technology.
* Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills. Including both written and spoken English.
* Excellent general computer literacy.
* Strong results and customer service focus.
* Strong analytical and fault diagnostic skills
* Have excellent problem solving skills
* Have excellent time management skills
* Be able to apply company operational procedures, along with industry reporting procedures.
