They pride themselves on maintaining operational efficiency, a strong customer base, and a positive team culture within a competitive food retail environment.As a Retail Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of Smokin Joes Armstrong Creek.
The role requires strong leadership skills, operational knowledge, and the ability to ensure profitability, compliance with food safety and workplace regulations, and delivery of excellent customer service standards.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and profitable functioning.Recruit, train, supervise, roster, and performance-manage staff members.Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales growth, cost control, and profitability targets.Monitor and manage inventory, stock levels, supplier relationships, and ordering processes.Ensure compliance with food safety, OH&S, and workplace standards at all times.Monitor financial performance, prepare operational and sales reports, and recommend improvements.Coordinate and execute promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement.Resolve customer complaints and feedback promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.Report directly to the Director on operational performance, compliance, and business growth opportunities.Requirements:Diploma or higher qualificationMinimum 12 months of proven experience in a retail or hospitality management roleDemonstrated ability to lead teams, grow sales, and manage operational efficiency.
Proven leadership and staff management skills.Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.Sound financial and business acumen with knowledge of budgeting and cost control.Solid understanding of retail food operations, including food safety standards.Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilitiesFlexible availability including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
