Take the next step in your career with a nationally recognised mid‑tier firm that values expertise, collaboration, and growth. We're looking for a Senior Analyst to join the Perth‑based team, providing end‑to‑end global employment tax services and advisory to a diverse portfolio of clients.
As a key member of the division, you'll be involved in complex employment tax and entitlements, strategic advisory work, and team leadership. You'll play a vital role in shaping outcomes for clients while mentoring junior professionals and helping to grow the firm's capability.
Responsibilities
* Supporting organisations in meeting their employer obligations, including superannuation guarantees, wage compliance, workers compensation, fringe benefit taxes and PAYG.
* Preparing and reviewing compliance submissions for various tax and regulatory authorities.
* Assisting in the development of tailored technology tools and data models to enhance client reporting and compliance accuracy.
* Managing client engagements related to state‑based payroll tax, including periodic reporting and audit support.
* Providing practical guidance to businesses establishing operations in Australia, ensuring they meet all employer tax obligations.
* Conducting reviews and preparing returns related to employee benefits taxation.
* Drafting clear, actionable advice for clients on a wide range of employer tax and payroll matters.
Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience working in employment taxes or global mobility taxes in a professional services firm.
* Strong leadership and people development capabilities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* A collaborative mindset with strong client service orientation.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Law or Finance.
