What you'll be getting into
* Building and deploying
AI, machine learning and advanced analytics solutions
that move from idea to production
* Working across the stack —
data, AI models, backend services and user-facing applications
* Turning complex operational data into insights people can actually use
* Improving and maintaining
cloud-based AI and analytics platforms
(Azure-heavy)
* Working closely with engineers, data scientists and business stakeholders — not sitting in a silo
* Helping shape how AI is adopted, scaled and governed across the organisation
* For the more senior folks: mentoring others and influencing technical direction
What we're looking for
This role suits someone who sits comfortably between
engineering and data
.
You might come from a
data science background
and love productionising models or you might be a
full stack/platform engineer
who's been building AI-enabled applications.
You'll likely have:
* Solid hands-on experience with
Python
and modern engineering practices
* Experience working with
cloud data and analytics platforms
(Azure ideal)
* Exposure to
machine learning, analytics or AI-driven systems
in production
* Comfort working with
APIs, data pipelines, and scalable platforms
* The ability to explain complex things simply and work well with non-technical stakeholders
Bonus points if you've worked with:
* Mining or industrial data (fleet, historians, SAP, operational systems)
* Databricks, Spark, Snowflake, Kafka or similar platforms
* LLMs, NLP or advanced AI use cases
* MLOps, CI/CD or DevOps-style environments
